Helloooooo all! My name is Hunter and yes, I am a fella. Holy kinoli, seems like we are slim pickins for this trip, what's up with that? If any of your brothers, boyfriends, or grandpas want to go on the trip, feel free to bring them along!

As for me, I am a 19 year-old freshman at Taylor University. My family consists of 3 sisters (talk about God's providence), me, and my mother and father. I'm from good ol' Columbus, Indiana, not Ohio, REPRESENT! We boast to be the most walkable city, and super safe. It was great growing up there, but I'm ready to get my feet wet in the global church. I am studying International Business with possible minors in Business as Missions and Entrepreneurship (I spell that right about 30% of the time).

I felt God call me to Africa in a very literal way (ask me about it, I'd love to share) over the winter of 2010/11 and I have been pumped to get a chance to go there ever since. I think it is undeniably clear that the Gospel provides hope for the hopeless, and peace to the restless, so that is my battle cry for this trip. I just want to see God glorified, less of me and more of Him. I'm ready to be wrecked. Christianity isn't about living a safe, easy life. It's hard, we choose to share in Christ's suffering that we may also share in His glory (Romans 8) so that is my vision for the trip. Let's make Jesus famous, He deserves it!!!

The Random Stuff:

-I'm tall, 6'4" (but i used to be short so I understand!)

-I played soccer all through high school, but I no longer do

-I really like playing volleyball, I'm a setter (I learned when I was short)

-I could look at the sky forever, but that's not super productive so I don't

-I love chick flicks, can't help it. The Notebook is my favorite (i know it's a little racy, but....c'mon it's so good!)

-I like to run, and work out, I like sweating, so I'm pumped for the summer

-I really like to read, but I'm super slow (working on Desiring God, This Present Darkeness and Sun Stand Still)

-I love playing with kids, but I don't like to discipline them. I'm like the fun uncle

-I am AWFUL with learning names, so forgive me when I forget yours

-I like to get up early, but I'm not a morning person, I like the quiet of the morning

-I like to sing and worship, music is awesome

-I've never been on anything more than a week long mission trip, but I've been on a good number of them

-I don't drink soda

-I'm definitely an extrovert, I've always been a talker, so feel free to hit me when you get tired of it (please not in the face though, that's the money maker)

-I like adventure: hiking, jumping off of tall things, rafting, all that stuff. But I don't do it as much as I would like

-I like genuine conversations, small talk only goes so far for me

-I'm not a picky eater, but if i find something I like, I could probably eat it everday, I'm no adventure eater

I'm going to be honest, I'm a little worried about the guy/girl ratio for this trip, so my prayer request would be that we can let Christ lead us, and grow close as a team to accomplish His will. That He would keep the whole team safe and unified for the bringing of His kingdom. I sincerely can't wait to meet all of you, this summer is going to be so tight. God is going to do huge things, I know it. 2 MORE MONTHS!!!! I'm flippin trucks I'm so excited.
