Hey everyone! Okay, I've been putting this off forever because I'm so bad at "about me's," but here it goes!

My name is Katie Moberly, I'm 19 years old and I live in Atlanta, GA. I'm a freshman at Georgia State University, which is located in the heart of Atlanta and I absolutely love it! There is always something to do, and I really just love people and the city is full of them. I am currently undeclared, but I won't be soon considering my freshman year is almost over... I'm planning on going in business, but in the non-profit sector because I eventually want to own my non-profit mentoring and tutoring kids living in affordable housing units. I absolutely love kids. I spent most of my high school years interning for an organization that tutored kids in the low income apartments in the Atlanta area and that is where God really showed me my passion in mentoring and showing kids who don't receive love, love. And not only love from me, but they have a never ending love from Christ.

Anywho, I've only ever been on local missions trips. I went on a mission trip to North Carolina for a month, but that is the longest and farthest away I've been from GA. I've actually never even been on a real plane before, or that I can remember at least. I went on a small personal plane once like 12 years ago, and I cried. So they landed. -___- and I haven't ever tried since. So this will be a whole new experience. Leaving the east coast, and being on a plane! But I'm so excited it's going to be with you guys, I can already tell y'all are incredible and lovely ladies and I love you all, already!!

Just a couple of things about me:

1. I've been a vegetarian for almost 6 years! But I'm slowly working my way back into eating meat, just in case I have to eat it in Swaziland.

2. I have 3 brothers, and 2 dogs. And I love them all so dearly.

3. Random Fact: I actually grew up Mormon. It wasn't until I was almost 10 years old that my step dad noticed something a little fishy. God knew exactly what he was doing when he brought him and my mom together.

4. I am not a morning person, at all. (I know some of y'all said you were... whew, this is gonna be interesting)

5. I love things that are awkward. Not that I'm awkward... well, maybe I am?

6. Africa has always been on my heart, just about ever since I learned how to say it, God has been pulling me there. So I'm so excited to finally be going!

7. I'm addicted to online shopping.

8. I love getting dressed up, even if I have no where to go. Sometimes I put on heels and dress just to make dinner.

9. I'm kind of a control freak. But I'm working on it. :) haha

10. I currently work at Yogli- Mogli. Which is a frozen yogurt store. You'd think I would get sick of it, but nope... I'm kind of obsessed.
